ACS have implemented Sitedesk on their projects moving forward to deliver its BIM strategy as a business. The web based Sitedesk software enables ACS to use mobile technology and standard hardware to put necessary data into a 3D model to fulfil all modern BIM Level 2 requirements. It gives full visibility at construction phase to eliminate clashes and insert quality control using digital form workflow. Sitedesk generates volumes and has measuring tools to easily carry out take offs that makes the site run as efficiently as possible delivering building information in a 3D format at handover populated internally as works progressed. It gives visibility to all stake holders on the construction phase leading to a full easy to use digital Facilities Management solution in 3D handed over to our Clients facilities team. This is the true money saving side of BIM throughout the life of the Asset, especially in any future maintenance costs and has been a great success so far. ACS strive for innovation in all aspects of their business and we continue to implement all solutions to assist this.

This screenshot shows the shell of the building and the drainage installed by ACS. We can then select any element to see more information. The example below is a Concrete Chamber Manhole.
Sitedesk then allows us to view all documentation related to this specific element. This can include manufacturing data and ACS Inspection and Test certificates to coincide with our Quality policy.
By utilising Sitedesk throughout a project, at handover stage we are left with a fully populated digital 3D Operation and Maintenance Manual we can hand over to our client to be read alongside the 3D Model.
