ACS was contracted to install sewer drainage at Longbridge Town Centre.
ACS has carried out the installation of sewer drainage to be adopted by Severn Trent Water for the redevelopment of Longbridge Town Centre.
The works have involved the installation of over 1,160m of drainage and 38 manholes at depths of up to 5.5m. Over half of this drainage was 900mm diameter concrete pipes for a surface water sewer.
These works, carried out over a three month period, were completed on time, to a high quality and with minimum disruption to all third parties.
A significant portion of this work was carried out in a live carriageway environment, in a very busy location, adjacent to the entrance to the development. This work therefore involved a significant interface with the general public in terms of both pedestrian and traffic management.
All works were completed with zero defects and on the back of our performance on this contract, we secured further works and recently completed 375m of sewer diversion on the main carriageway.
