As a preferred civils framework contractor on the Enhanced Gas Measurements Project (EGMP) – Phase 2, ACS are working with Thyson Technology & Scottish & Southern Energy.
The work was to enhance facilities for measuring gas quality, at various AGI’s (above ground installations) throughout the National Grid network.
We undertook civils works at five compressor stations at Warburtons, Pickering, Blyborough, Eastoft and Barton Stacey. We constructed concrete bases, installed new duct routes, underground chambers and provided new footpaths and protective barrier systems to facilitate the installation of new analysers and associated telemetry equipment.
The EGMP project involved new works at approximately 22 National Grid sites throughout the United Kingdom. ACS was involved from the inception and worked alongside other framework contractors through to completion.
The ACS project management team were fully conversant with the specifications, standards and codes of practice required by National Grid, in relation to carrying out construction works on National Grid infrastructure.
