The works consisted of a reduced level dig, cut and fill exercise to achieve a formation of a stone capping layer . This was constructed with the use of off site 6F2 that was remediated from the previous hard standing areas.
A value engineering exercise was carried out within the site and levels were amended with the approval of the site engineer to agree new levels that were used to reduce the amount of drainage that was required.
Installation of service ducts and columns for CCTV and street lighting were installed to the relevant specification and drawings.
Applications for the electrical connections within the public footpath , the traffic and pedestrian management systems and the site installation procedures were all carried out as part of the works.
The following associated works were carried out to complete the car park: Kerbing works to the northern boundary, the installation of parking meters, perimeter fencing / security gates and tarmac binder course to the circulation and parking space areas. External areas were finished and reinstated with use of hydro seeding.
The above project was handed over to St. Modwen Developments on time within budget and without any health and safety issues.
