ACS was employed to carry out the substructure works and hard landscaping to the extension and refurbishment of Alsop High School which is the largest secondary school in the City of Liverpool under the BSF scheme.
The scope of works included earthworks, foundations, drainage, ducting and an extensive external works package incorporating large granite podium seating.
These works had to be undertaken with careful consideration not only for the staff and pupils due to the live school environment but also the local residents directly surrounding the site. Also the presence of a listed building within the site boundary which has been totally refurbished.
Notwithstanding the difficulties of these site constraints, we achieved the Morgan Sindall’s “Perfect Delivery” accreditation, i.e. snag free at each contractual milestone during the 2 year project.
