ACS Construction Group retains Gold standard Investors In People accreditation

ACS Construction Group is pleased to announce that they have retained the Gold standard Investors In People accreditation for the third consecutive time.

Investors In People is an international standard that assesses companies on their people management and development.

Initially awarded Gold in 2013, the latest assessment saw the company measured against the new, and more rigorous, IiP version 6 (v6) standard. ACS has been recognised for being ahead of the Construction sector average on all nine indicators and that the organisation is above the overall Investors In People average on all nine indicators. A particular reference was made regarding the exceptionally strong culture that runs throughout the company which is demonstrated through collective and individual performance.

ACS Construction Director, Danny Doohan says, “Retaining this award for the third time is a credit to the excellent teams at ACS and their dedication which is displayed across the company. Commercially and operationally we continue to demonstrate excellence and growth, and every member of the team plays a key role in delivering whilst maintaining the high standards we demand of ourselves.”

The Investors In People report comments, “ACS Construction Group Ltd has demonstrated how people and leaders are actively driving positive outcomes and taking ownership of the principles and practices covered in the Investors In People Standard.”

The award follows a promising first quarter for the group which saw them awarded a number of noteworthy contracts for existing and new clients including, Citrus Group, Mitsubishi Electric Europe, Centrica, Legal & General and St Modwen.
