ACS Construction Group COVID-19

As the situation with COVID-19 develops further we wanted to assure you that everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing is our priority and therefore, we continue to evolve our practices in line with the latest UK Government advice.

Our on-site team:

As a company, we aim to continue to operate on-site until we are informed otherwise by our clients or if the UK Government instructs us not to.

At ACS Construction Group, all of our site staff have been regularly updated on the measures required to help to reduce the spread of the virus and we are now taking on board the Government’s latest advice on social distancing. All necessary precautions are in place to ensure that the safety of all operatives is always maintained.

• Increased hand washing and sanitising

• Maintaining the cleanliness and disinfecting of vehicles and tools

• Social distancing – minimising the number of people congregating in communal areas

• Covering any coughs or sneezes with a tissue/sleeve and disposing where possible

• Avoiding shaking hands

Should anyone display any symptoms, they will leave site and self-isolate for up to 14 days.

With the uncertainty of sites potentially being shut down, we have measures in place to ensure the safety and security of our sites, especially when closing at the end of the day.

Our office-based team:

Until we are advised otherwise, our office team will be working remotely to minimise unnecessary contact and to maintain the well-being of our team. For the time being, we’ve made sure that our staff have all the equipment they need to work remotely and have set up measures to allow us all to keep in touch with each other, and our clients. We’ve also suspended staff attendance at large business-related meetings/events and have placed a restriction on all non-essential staff travel.

We would like to reassure you all that with our Business Continuity Plan in place, we can continue to service our clients’ requirements and work on projects with the same high standards as always, until we are instructed otherwise.

We will continue to review and update our plans as the situation evolves in line with the Government’s advice. For the time being, we’ve made sure that our staff have all the equipment and information they need to keep safe and do our bit to stop the spread of COVID-19.

These are difficult times, but we are a business that cares about our people, our community and our clients, so we are as determined as ever to work through this whilst keeping everyone safe.

If you would like to discuss any of this, please contact one of our directors.

Kind regards,

ACS Construction Group
